Just got this figure last Friday, December 10, via Fed-Ex. The figure + shipping is way cheaper compared here, but again, the nightmare of getting figures and toys online starts from our very own CUSTOMS and the tax they’re adding to the actual figure. I mean, the tax I’m paying just to get the figure is insane :(( It’s still ok though since I live in the province and going to Manila to shop is also not that pocket friendly :) (gas, fare, food, and “pagod”).

To those people who are wondering how they (customs) calculate the tax: [total USD value of parcel * 10% customs dues] + [total USD value of parcel * 12% VAT] + [PhP 750 customs miscellaneous fees] + [PhP 35 Philpost releasing fee]

Plus, there is a Php500 per day charge if your package was not picked up by you or the courier on time. how’s that? :))

Thanks to Shunya Yamashita, Soryu Asuka Langley’s got some extra sass! This big, beautiful figure is about 26cm tall, and she was sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa (REFLECT) after an illustration by Yamashita. We’re seeing a slightly more mature Asuka here–physically, at least!–and she’s wearing a super-sexy, stripped-down version of her iconic red plugsuit, reimagined with lots of skin showing and sky-high heels! Asuka plainly loves the attention, too, as her confident pose attests! A round base is included to keep her standing safely; you’ll want to find a prominent place to show her off–this lovely lady deserves nothing less! Recommended!
