Good Smile Company is going to release the 1/8th scale figure rendition of Asuna (Knights of the Blood Ver.) from the popular anime series, Sword Art Online. Honestly, I’m a big fan of GSC but I think I’ll have to pass on this one. Overall look of the figure is great specially the pose.
But IMO, there’s just something wrong with Asuna’s face. I mean she’s pretty, but just not Asuna. My favorite was still Kotobukiya’s version and still waiting for Alter’s move to show their take on the character. Alphamax has a great figure rendition of her too! Figure slated April 2014 for ¥9,333.
Asuna is my favourite anime character so naturally I’ll be picking this one up.
I do agree that something is a little off about the face though. Sometimes it does look like her and other times it doesn’t, I guess it depends on which part of the show/which facial expression you compare it to and what angle etc.
I also cannot wait for Alter to have a crack as I believe they’ll knock it out of the park.
Agreed! Patiently waiting for Alter to release their rendition of her. I’m sure she’ll look great and it will be (like always) an instant preorder :D
