Freeing is going to release the 1/7th scale figure rendition of Hatsune Miku Racing (or Racing Miku) popularized by figure manufacturer Good Smile Company. I think this is the first time Freeing ever touched the Hatsune Miku brand which makes this Miku figure their first (correct me if I’m wrong here).
All I can say about this figure is it’s absolutely gorgeous! The overall figure composition and the somewhat cheerful aura of Miku makes her a must buy for me. The face is a bit different from the standard Miku face we are all used to but hey, this is Freeing’s take on the character so let’s respect that. I still find it unique and cute.
Figure is slated for a June 2013 release with an SRP of ¥12,190.

I prefer GSCs rendition better. Not to say FREEing hasn’t done a good job here. The hair is just a bit too crazy here haha.
@rhinosrs: I agree. GSC figure renditions are more exceptional compared to Freeing. I have GSC’s racing Miku myself and that figure definitely has my vote. Though like what I’ve mentioned, this Miku figure has a personal touch of Freeing. I personally love the body sculpt though I’m still not used with the somewhat different face treatment :P Still a great figure though in my books :)
This figure is absolutely beautiful in my opinion. The pose is attractive and I think Freeing really captured Racing Miku’s adorable facial features.
@Astrogent: Yeah, a lot of collectors are disagreeing when it comes to Miku’s face in this figure. I think it is a good thing that Freeing applied their own style in creating this figure.
