Alter is going to release the 1/8th scale figure rendition of Mistral Nereis from the PSP RPG game, Shining Blade (シャイニング ブレイド). Tony Taka’s character designs has been Kotobukiya’s turf for years and they’re very good at transforming those designs into great figures.

I’m not sure if this is the first time I’ve seen Alter doing a figure based on TT’s work (correct me if I’m wrong here). But based on this figure rendition of Mistral, I can say they’re doing a great job (it’s Alter after all) and they should transform more Tony Taka character designs into figures.

Figure slated late May 2013 for ¥13,000.
