We’ve been together for 11 years now (since high school – god we’re getting old) and I was thinking of “what’s best way to do it”. Problem is, I’m not the “sweet” type of guy you often see in the movies and I suck big time when it comes to these kind of stuff. Well, I still did buy the ring in secret (goodbye 4 months worth of figures) but I just can’t think of a better way to surprise her.

I made her go to the grocery so that I can be alone in the office and can plan things out. I then suddenly looked at my figures on the wall and at that very moment, an idea popped into my mind. After roughly an hour, she came back, heads back into our office and noticed her favorite figure waiting on her desk. I was on the other room dusting some of our figures that time. She then goes outside and hugged me – and yep – she said yes :)
