Mid last year, I ultimately decided to purchase my very first mirrorless camera in the form of Fujifilm’s X-T10. I asked a lot of my photographer friends and checked a lot of camera reviews before buying and everyone’s consensus is “it’s an incredible camera” (and they’re right). I’ve been playing around with it non-stop since I bought it and I’m super happy with it. It performs really well and the image quality is superb.

One of the first things I tested with this camera was its video capabilities. This camera was never designed for shooting videos so I was really not expecting anything out of it. But when I tried it in my office with the lights off, I was impressed with its low light performance. The video looks really good and film-like thanks to Fujifilm’s signature “film simulation” settings. You can check out the footage and some stills below. I used the kit lens 16-50mm.

I also bought the 27mm “pancake” lens. Not only it takes sharp pictures, it also makes my camera much more low-profile and retro-looking :P I have a lot of Nikon lenses but not really sure what’s the best lens adapter so that I can use it on my X-T10.
