I preordered this figure a couple months ago and it arrived last tuesday (with Saber Lily) for me to feast on >:) This figure was based on her appearance from the remake of Evangelion anime series. The remake is a quadrilogy in the making and it was based from the original anime. As of now, the first 2 movies are already out, Evangelion 1.0: You Are Not Alone & Evangelion 2.0: You Cannot Escape (which I already watched last year ;D) The 3rd film, Evangelion 3.0: You Will [not] Understand (still not sure if this is really the tagline) will be released later this year.

The figure is well sculpted. Details are top notch and Asuka’s face is really identical from the original anime.

Shikinami Asuka Langley sure looks great in the new “Test” plugsuit from the upcoming third “Rebuild of Evangelion” film. Resting against some mangled girders and concrete rubble, she poses to show off her curves to their best advantage and smiles sweetly with that famous red hair fluttering in the wind! She’s about 23.5cm tall, and she was masterfully sculpted by Toshiiyuki Yagyu, who captured the contrast between the sleek fabric of the plugsuit and the rough environment of the base perfectly.
