Earlier this month, I decided to mod my Toyota Fortuner SUV. Its current paint job is already getting old and I want it to look like it was brand new again. Was searching the web for paint color references but I was really having a hard time finding the best one. I did find some interesting paint job references but the shop told me that the color samples I sent them are very expensive to do – “It’s doable, but expensive” according to them. I then again go back searching for other color as reference when I accidentally bumped my Racing Miku figure standing in my desk. I told myself – “What if I used Miku’s hair color as a reference for the paint”. I grabbed my phone and quickly photographed Miku using Adobe’s Capture CC app. I then extracted the color and sent it over to the guys that will do the paint job. After 3-4 weeks, shop called me telling me my SUV is ready for pickup ;)
