A few days ago, Hot Toys finally unveiled their first 1/6th scale “diecast” figure rendition of Iron Patriot from the highly anticipated film, Iron Man 3. With HT’s new “diecast” figure line (starting with Iron Man 3), we can now avoid some of the problems we experienced from the usual “plastic” and “rubber” material they’ve been using in almost all of their Iron Man figures. It means no “pink panties” for Iron Man and no “oops! I think I broke something” scenario.

Since it’s diecast, obviously, it’s much more expensive. Sideshow currently sells it for $310 and this price will surely not change on other upcoming “diecast” figures from Hot Toys. Figure slated Q4 2013.
