Hobby Japan is once again going to burn our wallets with their new figure series, The 7 Deadly Sins. This series will be similar with the likes of the highly successful Queen’s Blade and Hyakka Ryouran. The figure series has a total of 7 characters (mainly female) which are all based on the 7 deadly sins.
Hobby Japan has commenced collaboration with figure manufacturer, Orchid Seed and they will be releasing their first figure, Asmodeus (Lust) in late January to February 2013. Luckily, I managed to secure my spot just yesterday (last day of preorders) and I just can’t wait for 2013. I’ll definitely complete this figure series!
I will get the Leviathan girl for sure, I love the design.

I actually love them all! But once again, I think we cannot avoid characters with oversized boobs in this one hahaha! I’m sure it will take the whole 2013 before all of the characters hits figure production and I also have the feeling that this will be adapted into an anime series like Queen’s Blade and Hyakka Ryouran.
Most of them are nice or at least interesting. Haha Mommon is quite the busty one XD But overall this design looks quite cute and appealing.
I don’t know if Orchid Seed will be fast enough to make and release all of them in 2013.
Most likely there will be an anime adaption, something ecchi ^o^
I’m pretty sure there will also be an anime adaptation. Maybe it will be sometime next year. I think Mommon will be the next Cattleya (Queen’s Blade) haha!
I found out about this exclusive figure series from HJ-Orchid Seed earlier this year. Suffice to say its a very tempting and ambition product line. XD
I’m getting Asmodeus and Mammon at least and still considering getting Lucifer, Satan, and Leviathan. It would be awesome to collect them all but I don’t think I can afford to get the entire set. Kudos though to those who manage to.
Lucky enough, I’ve managed to secure a slot for Azomedeus a few days ago, but since this is an exclusive series, you need to pay i think roughly 70% of the total cost of the figure T_T. I’m sure the whole 2013 is not enough for Orchid Seed to complete this figure line. And yeah, I definitely agree that this is going to be an awesome product line! Patiently waiting for the anime adaptation.
I just found out that Orchid Seed will only manufacture 4 of the Deadly Sins. Basing from their images in the Summer WonFest 2012 on the Orchid Seed blog they will just do Asmodeus, Lucider, Mammon, and Satan. There were also no production images of Leviathan like Asmodeus. Leviathan will be produced instead by AMAKUNI.
